A pod of fur seal pups. These were the puppy dogs of the beach; small, active and as cute as can be. This group here is part of a communal nursery. Female fur seals only give birth to one pup each mating season. These pups are all probably related, for the male fur seal battles for the rights to a harem of up to 50 females to mate with.
