Cerro de la Vigia is a great spot to catch the sunset while in Trinidad. A short hike out of town takes you to a lookout which was used in times past to watch for ships in the nearby Puerto de Casilda.
The lights of Trinidad and the Port of Casilda are beginning to shine brightly as the sunsets. Oblivious to the sunset, a young woman chats on her phone at the summit of Cerro de la Vigia.
While waiting for a bus connection on our way to Vinales, Linda and I took the opportunity to visit the town of Santa Clara, Cuba. The bus station is serviced regularly by horse drawn carts that serve as local taxis.
