Rano Raraku is the quarry where hundreds of moais were carved before being transported to their respective Ahu's. There still remains 397 moai's in various stages of completion. What looks like only the heads are actually full sized moai's with their bodies buired.

With 15 moai, Ahu Tongariki is the largest ceremonial site on Rapa Nui. The moai and their platform stretches out over 300 feet. The immensity and it's setting against the ocean is awe inspiring.
