On our way back to the ship, we spotted the Leopard seal we had been searching for. Although not endangered they are rarely sighted for they spend most of their time under the ice.

It’s nap interrupted by our presence, the Leopard seal raised it’s head to give us a good looking over.

I suppose this Leopard seal did not find us interesting enough or perhaps we were too big to eat, so with a yawn it laid back down to nap.
