A rare photo of the two of us together. Usually it doesn’t happen because my cameras are set up with back button focus and a few other tweaks that make them virtually impossible to just hand to someone, even another experienced photographer and expect a decent photo of yourself. This trip ashore I included my little Canon G5X that I leave in AUTO mode so Linda can use it if she desires. So I made it a point to ask for a photo of us together. I do not do phones.
Another member of the team, Ross (a documentary film maker) videos a Gentoo making it’s way back to the rookery. All of the passengers received an outstanding 20 minute video filmed entirely of our voyage. As I capture him filming the penguin, he is filming myself and Linda. Our 5 seconds of fame in the video.
